The aim of this book divided into six chapters is to provide reference to the teachers, educators and of course to the students how philately can be used as an effective teaching tool in learning. The chapter about Formal teaching how so many stamps available can be used as effective teaching aids to teach any subject from History & Geography to Physics, Chemistry, Biology and literature. The General Teaching chapter can be very useful for those having interest in general knowledge as it covers various subjects including cultural affairs, inventions, who’s who of India and the world. The pre-primary chapter suggests how the stamps on fruits, flowers, birds, fish, domestic and wild animals, etc. could be used to teach kindergartners. Activity chapter will help the preschool teachers to use stamps effectively to conduct variety of educational activities for pre-schoolers. The previous two publications have won several International medals.
