Humans have been perpetually in search of happiness from ‘womb to tomb’. Unfortunately, most people seek pleasures through shortcuts. We often mistake momentary pleasure for eternal happiness. Lord Krishna in his Bhagavad Gita reiterates: ‘The wise soul’s pure consciousness becomes clouded by his eternal enemy – LUST – it’s veiled by different degrees of lust - which is insatiable.’ As a result, we get trapped in an endless vicious cycle of changing different bodies, ageing, contracting diseases, and eventually facing death followed by continuous life-cycles after life. We all know the power of chanting the Holy name. The love for Krishna and His Maha-mantra enables us to recognise the difference between temporary pleasure and eternal happiness. ‘In Quest of Govinda’s Golok Dham’ – it’s a journey of the heart, where love meets the Divine. It’s all about a quest for the soul in the realm of Govinda's celestial abode, ‘Golok Dham’ – a spiritual journey.
